As is typical with Paris Fashion Week, some of the world's best designer collections
ranged from the truly Avant-garde to appealingly wearable. With a plethora of beautiful
looks on offer its almost impossible to state my pick of the bunch, but here goes...
(From top) Stella McCartney showed a collection full of minimalist references with
beautiful geometric pleats and organic curves, sports luxe too played an important part.
Louis Vuitton's Mod extravaganza was quite a feast for the eyes; models in pairs
entering by escalator, while all-over-sequins and checkered prints provided dozens of
must-have items for next year. In contrast but just as appealing, Nicolas Ghesquière
showed clever proportion play for Balenciaga with hugely covetable leather work and
tailoring (not to mention those 5-finger rings. Lastly Hermès also presented great tailored
looks, taking the silhouette boyish with exotic contrasting prints.
